Sammendrag:
The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for processing the skin side of a tubular fur (2), which apparatus (1)
comprises: a mandrel (3) on which the tubular fur (2) can be drawn from a first part (3a) of the mandrel (3)
towards a second part (3b) of the mandrel (3) so that the skin side of the fur (2) faces outwards and the fur
side of the fur (2) faces inwards towards the mandrel (3), one or more scraper units (4, 5, 8, 9), each
scraping unit comprising at least one seraper means (4a, 5a, 8a, 9a) configured for scraping said skin side
when the fur (2) is arranged on the mandrel (3), and a cover (10) comprising a compartment (13) and an
outlet (11), wherein said cover (10) is configured for enciosing at least a part of said mandrel (3) and at least
one of said scraper means (4a, 5a, 8a, 9a) in said compartment (13) during operation, wherein said outlet (11)
is arranged in a bottom part (12) of said cover (10), said bottom part (12) being arranged below said at least
one scraper means, and wherein said cover (10) comprises walis with inner surfaces configured for leading
material removed from said skin side by means of one or more of said one or more scraper means (4a, 5a,
8a, 9a) towards said bottom part (12).
