Sammendrag:
The present invention relates to gripping means, stretching apparatus and a method of stretching a pelt on a
pelt board. The gripping means comprises aset of gripping elements comprising a first gripping element and
a second gripping element, each having a gripping surface where in a longitudinal extend of said gripping
surface of said first gripping element in a direction parallel to a longitudinal centreaxis of the pelt board is of
a convex shape configured to correspond to a concave shape of said gripping surface of said second
gripping element, such that when said gripping surfaces are in an opposing arrangement and a pelt is
arranged bet we en the gripping surfaces , the pelt can be gripped by the gripping surfaces by mutual
displacement of the gripping surfaces, said gripping surface of said first gripping element comprises a
surface curvature at a first point (P1) having a first radius of surface curvature (R1), and said gripping surface
of said second gripping element comprises a surface curvature at a second point (P2) having a second
radius of curvature(R2), said first point (P1) and said second point (P2) are opposing points in said opposing
arrangement, wherein said first radius of the surface curvature (R1) is smaller than said second radius of the
surface curvature (R2) by 1040 %, such as by 1535 % or such as by 2030 %.
