In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic impacted nearly the entire world.
Due to the need for shutting down the country, the Danish Government
had to support and take control of a variety of businesses.
Although the mink industry in Denmark was worldwide renown for its
excellence, the Government decided to take over the whole
industry. The Government was never supposed to run the mink
businesses but solely to pay compensation to them. However, the
brilliance of Danish minks and the superior knowhow and products of
the industry should continue elsewhere in the hands of other capable
companies.
It is as a result of this development that Jasopels is now being
offered for sale.
