Sammendrag:
Apelt board (11) is disclosed for stretching and drying of tubular pelts (5), the pelt board (11) having a tip end
(4) from which the pelt is drawn onto the pelt board (11) and a foot end (2), wherein the pelt board (11) has a
lower part (8) nearest the foot end (2) where the outer cross-sectional circumference of the pelt board (11)
is substantially constant and an upper part (9) between the lower part (8) and the tip end (4), where the
outer cross-sectional circumference of the upper part (9) gradually decreases towards the tip end (4),
wherein the longitudinal extent (L1) of the lower part (8) is in the range of 36 to 50 cm, more preferably in
the range of 40 to 45 cm. Furthermore is disclosed an extension piece for connecting with a standard pelt
board and fat-absorbing inner bags (13, 19) for use with the pelt board (11).
